Ingredients: serves 4
1 1/3 lb/60 dkg boned chicken breasts, salt, ground black pepper, 4 egg whites, 4 tablespoon cornstarch, oil for deep frying
Sauce: 7 oz/2 dl ketchup, 1 3/4 oz/1/2 dl balsamic vinegar, 1 3/4 oz/1/2 dl honey, 3 tablespoon soy sauce, 1/4 teaspoon grated ginger, 1 onion, 1 clove garlic (1/2 teaspoon garlic cream), salt, ground black pepper
Slice the boned chicken breasts horizontally into 12 not too thick pieces. Salt lightly and pepper. Beat up the egg whites, add the cornstarch and a bit of salt.
Coat the meat with the egg whites and deep-fry in hot oil for about 1 minute until the crust turns
golden brown, then drip off the excess oil. For the sauce, combine the ketchup, balsamic vinegar,
honey, soy sauce, grated ginger, minced onion and crushed garlic (garlic cream), add a bit of salt
and pepper. When ready to serve, slice each chicken breast and spread the sauce around it. Steamed
rice goes well with thisdish as an accompaniment.

For those like it spicy, add Red Gold or “Strong Steven” hot cherry pepper paste as seasoning.
