Ingredients serves 4:
21 oz/60 dkg beef round, 2-3 tablespoon olive oil, 2 cloves garlic (1 teaspoon garlic cream), 1 teaspoon chili powder (1 teaspoon hot Red Gold or “Strong Steven” hot cherry pepper paste), 1 each red, yellow and green bell peppers, 9 oz/25 dkg tomatoes, 2 cup/4 1/2 dl water, 3 1/2 oz/1 dl strong black coffee, 1/2 tablespoon sugar, 1 tablespoon wine vinegar, 1/2 teaspoon oregano, 1/2 teaspoon ground caraway or cumin, 9 oz/25 dkg cooked kidney beans (may use canned)

Grind the meat coarse. Heat the oil in a pan and wilt the finely chopped onion in it. Add the meat and stirring, sauté for 5-6 minutes. Add the crushed garlic (garlic cream) and continue cooking another minute, add the chili powder or paprika cream. Remove the core from the peppers and dice into 1” cubes. Add to the meat and sauté a few minutes. Cut out the stems from the tomatoes, cut into 1” cubes, add to the previous ingredients along with the tomato paste. Pour in the water and coffee, season with sugar, wine vinegar, oregano and caraway. As soon as the broth comes to a boil reduce heat to low and stew covered for about 40 minutes. At the end, add the drained beans and cook an additional 10 minutes.
