Ingredients serves 4:
11 oz/30 dkg ribbed elbow macaroni, salt, 3 hardboiled eggs, 3 hard tomatoes, 3-4 frankfurters, 8 tablespoon mayonnaise, 3 tablespoon cooking cream (light cream), pinch of nutmeg, paprika, salt, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Cook the pasta in slightly salted boiling water, drain, rinse, and let the water drip off completely. Dice the hardboiled eggs, cored apples, pickles and tomatoes into 1/2”/1 cm cubes. Slice the frankfurters. Thin the mayonnaise with the cream, season with nutmeg, paprika and salt. Add the Worcestershire sauce, pasta, and diced ingredients.
When preparing a pasta salad with mayonnaise it is usually very juicy, there are those who like it this way. If it is allowed to rest, the pasta absorbs nearly all the sauce, this is why its flavor becomes so delicious and there are those who prefer it because of it. One thing is certain, this way or that, try it!
