Ingredients serves 4:
11 oz/30 dkg macaroni, 8 oz/20 dkg thinly sliced sandwich ham, 3-4 pickles, 1 red bell pepper, 1 cup parsley leaves, 6 tablespoon mayonnaise, 4 tablespoon sour cream, 1 tablespoon ketchup, 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
Break the macaroni into 2”-3”/5-6 cm pieces and cook in slightly salted water. Drain, rinse under cold water, allowing the water to drip off completely. Slice the ham, pickles and cleaned pepper into thin slices, chop the parsley fine. Mix the mayonnaise with the sour cream and ketchup, add the prepared ingredients and salt and pepper as needed.
The salad may be enhanced by adding thin strips of cheese, hard boiled eggs, and/or cooked corn.
When preparing a pasta salad with mayonnaise it is usually very juicy, there are those who like it this way. If it is allowed to rest, the pasta absorbs nearly all the sauce, this is why its flavor becomes so delicious and there are those who prefer it because of it. One thing is certain, this way or that, try it!
