Chicken Thighs with Lecsó and Dilled Cheese Pasta  -  (Lecsós csirkecomb kapros, túrós csuszával)
Ingredients:
1 large red onion, 4 tablespoons oil, 8 chicken thighs, salt, ground black pepper, 1 tablespoon sweet paprika, 5-6 large green peppers, 3-4 tomatoes
for the side dish
salt, 1 scant cup flat pasta (csusza), 3 1/2 oz smoked bacon, 7 oz cottage cheese, 3/4 cup sour cream, 1 large bunch of dill

Peel and chop the onion, sauté over the oil. Remove the skin of the thighs, cut them at the joint. Place them in the onion and fry until all meat surfaces turn white. Add salt, pepper and paprika, cover with a bit of water and cook until almost tender. In the meantime, remove the stem of the peppers and the tomatoes, cut them into large cubes. Add them to the meat. Covered, cook over low heat until tender. Add some hot paprika if desired. Cook the pasta in boiling salted water, strain. Cube the bacon, melt in a pot. Heat the pasta over the fat of the bacon. Before serving, pile the pasta next to the chicken, crumble the cheese over it, sprinkle with sour cream and the chopped dill.
